Thurston Drive+

The Thurston Drive+ combines Apollo Approved's Buckartie-Boo overdrive with an added flat-frequency boost in one enclosure. The drive side is the Nobels ODR-1-based circuit, named for Ford Thurston and his vintage ODR-1, giving the mid-forward, string-separating overdrive the maker is known for, while the boost is voiced flat so it lifts level without reshaping the tone. Running the two together pushes an amp harder or slams the drive for more gain and sustain, and the boost can be used on its own as a clean level lift. Hand-built in small batches in Indonesia.
