Buckartie-Boo

The Buckartie-Boo is Apollo Approved's take on the Nobels ODR-1, the mid-forward overdrive that built a cult following for the way it thickens a signal without smearing chords. It keeps the ODR-1's signature Spectrum-style tone control, which tilts a broad EQ curve rather than acting as a simple treble cut, and holds onto string separation and clarity even as the gain climbs. Set below about a third of its gain range it gives a cleaner push with none of the flub or fizz that thinner overdrives add, and past that it moves into fuller breakup. Hand-built in small batches in Indonesia.
