Tone Bender MK1.5 with NOS Mullard germanium. Raw 1960s fuzz with an external Bias knob.
The Sunbender MK1.5 recreates the exact Tone Bender MK1.5 topology with tweaked part values for better performance. Uses New Old Stock British Mullard germanium transistors, hand-selected by Mike Piera from his vintage collection.
Volume and Fuzz knobs do the heavy lifting, while a center Bias knob lets you explore sounds from tight and cutting to loose and sputtery. An internal Master Bias trimpot sets the Bias knob's center point, and an internal Clean trimpot presets the pedal for cleaner or less bassy tones. More raw and 1960s sounding than the MkIV.
Positive ground (center-positive power, no daisy chains). True bypass. Battery-only standard, with optional power jack and LED available.
